This town seems to be an automotive graveyard. These little rusted and deformed beauties are a common sight in B.A. The concerning thing is they still drive them.

La Recoleta Cemetery

Taking a stroll around the first cemetery built in Buenos Aires, La Recoleta Cemetery- it's like walking down Madison Avenue. Tombs like shop window displays except the coffins are on show!


Presidents, Generals, Poets, Actors, Politicians, Physicians and those who were wealthy enough to afford such a fancy resting place.


Some beautiful architectural designs, some well maintained and others that have been left to decay.

Getting high with Luciano Marra!

Walking through Palermo, the fashion boutique district of Buenos Aries we came across this amazing heel-wedge designer, Luciano Marra. The heels-wedges are incredible with a unique and original design to each individual pair. Some fantastico detailing, patterns and embellishments. 


I wish I had more room in my bag! This just means we will have to come back for a shopping trip! Enjoy x

LA BOMBE DEL TIEMPO

A great thing to do on a monday night in Buenos Aires is to head to the CIUDAD CULTURAL KONEX,  which is an old oil warehouse factory that has been converted into an entertainment venue, to see the popular percussion group LA BOMBE DEL TIEMPO! 


A group of 17 musicians that play different percussion instruments. It is all based on improvisation through different hand signals. A great place to go and meet other people and travellers, have a few drinks and chill out.
