In La Boca hood

La Boca is the oldest, most colourful and authentic neighborhood in Buenos Aires. Between 1880 and 1930, approximately 6 million foreign immigrants landed in the port of La Boca and began work in the warehouses and meatpacking plants in the area.
As they began building homes their supplies were limited, especially the paint. As a solution they used any and all leftover paint they could find from the shipyard. The result of this painting frenzy was a one of a kind neighbourhood that was adorned with every color of the rainbow.

A super touristy spot, but worth seeing. Stick to streets around the main strip, Caminito, as outside this area it the ghetto!!!

Pork Ribs and big slabs of beef! Meat Lovers this for you.

The Boca Juniors is one of the biggest soccer teams in Argentina and happens to be one of the clubs that the soccer great Diego Maradona played for. Their stadium, La Bombonera, is not so surprisingly located in the La Boca barrio!
